Success for the conference "From the earth to the glass" that La Delizia Friulian winemakers from Casarsa della Delizia, a leading company in the world of sparkling wines and with a strong presence also in still wines, organized on its farm in Codroipo to present its sustainable supply chain.
At the opening of the meeting, the president of La Delizia Flavio Bellomo remarked that there is no turning back from this new vision. "Sustainable viticulture - he explained - is not a trend of the moment, but a commitment that we make for the future not only of our cooperative and our customers but also of the communities and the territory in which we operate". President Bellomo was followed by the institutional greeting of Claudio Violino, mayor of Mereto di Tomba in whose municipal territory part of the farm falls, who recalled the value of the presence of La Delizia, as well as the strategic nature of agriculture in the economic system territorial.
Mirko Bellini director of La Delizia Friulian winemakers opened the round table with an intervention on the new path taken by the winery towards environmental, social and economic sustainability through the certification of the National Quality System of Integrated Production throughout the supply chain. "A certification that has the bee as a symbol - he explained - to which we add the butterfly, another insect linked to the healthiness of the environment that we have chosen to include in our new logo".
The hosts were then followed by the interventions of four of the main partners in the production chain of La Delizia, from Carlos Veloso dos Santos CEO Amorim Cork, a company that deals with the production and sale of corks, to Federico Goitre sales manager of Italia Enoplastic group engaged in the production and sale of capsules and guarantee closures for the world of wine, sparkling wine, liqueurs, oil and vinegar. Followed by Martina Villa, marketing manager of DS Smith Packaging Italia, which deals with the production and sale of packaging, customized packaging. In conclusion, Luca Ceccarelli president of Ceccarelli Group, a Friulian company engaged in the sector of logistics and transport services.
